Homekeepr Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Homekeepr mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Homekeepr, Inc. (“Homekeepr,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and reside in the United States to use Homekeepr. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
3. Account Registration and Access
- Each account is associated with one primary home at this time.
- You may invite household members to access and collaborate within your home under your subscription.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including activity by invited users.
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for misuse, violations of these Terms, or behavior that may harm the Service or other users.
4. Subscription, Billing, and Payments
Homekeepr is a paid subscription service.
Subscription Terms
- Subscriptions are billed annually at the price presented at the time of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the platform where you originally subscribed (Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or web via Stripe).
Payments and Renewal
- If you subscribe through Apple or Google, billing and refunds are handled in accordance with their respective policies.
- If you subscribe via the web, your payment method will be charged automatically at renewal unless canceled.
Refunds
All fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where refunds are processed by Apple, Google, or Stripe, under their platform policies.
We may change pricing or subscription terms in the future with advance notice.
5. Use of the Service and AI Features
Homekeepr provides tools to help homeowners organize, understand, and manage home-related information.
Informational Use Only
- Homekeepr provides reminders, insights, recommendations, and AI-generated summaries for informational and organizational purposes only.
- The Service does not provide professional advice, including but not limited to home inspection, construction, engineering, plumbing, electrical, legal, financial, or safety advice.
- AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated.
- You are responsible for independently verifying information and determining appropriate actions for your home.
No Emergency or Monitoring Services
Homekeepr is not an emergency service and does not monitor your home in real time. You should contact qualified professionals or emergency services when necessary.
5A. Privacy and AI Data Use
Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we collect it, how we use it, and the service providers we share it with. The following applies specifically to AI-powered features:
- What data may be sent: property address, home characteristics, uploaded photos or documents, text you enter, home system or appliance details, and maintenance records or service history.
- Who it is sent to: Google LLC (United States) via the Gemini API, solely to generate AI responses for your use in the Service.
- Permission: we request your consent in the app before sending any data to the AI provider, and you can decline or disable AI features at any time.
We require the AI provider to protect your data with confidentiality and security safeguards equal to or greater than those described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Recommendations, Estimates, and Risk Indicators
- Any recommendations, cost estimates, or risk scores are general heuristics and not guarantees or predictions.
- Contractor listings or referrals do not constitute endorsements or warranties.
- Actual costs, risks, and outcomes may vary significantly based on conditions beyond Homekeepr’s control.
Homekeepr may receive compensation from partners or service providers for certain referrals or promotions. Such relationships do not change your responsibility to evaluate services independently.
7. User Content
Ownership
You retain ownership of content you upload to the Service, including photos, documents, and notes (“User Content”).
License to Homekeepr
By uploading User Content, you grant Homekeepr a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, analyze, and display such content solely to operate, improve, and provide the Service, including AI-powered features.
We may use aggregated and de-identified data derived from User Content to improve our products and services.
Content Responsibility
You represent that you have the rights necessary to upload User Content. You agree not to upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights or violates applicable law.
Homekeepr does not sell identifiable User Content.
We reserve the right to remove or restrict content that violates these Terms or applicable laws.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, trademarks, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by Homekeepr and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the Service except as permitted by law.
9. Copyright & Intellectual Property Complaints
Homekeepr respects intellectual property rights and responds to valid copyright complaints.
Reporting Claims
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, submit a notice to:

Your notice must include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material
- Your contact information
- A statement of good-faith belief
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act
Response
We may remove or disable access to the content and notify the user who uploaded it.
Counter-Notification
Users may submit a counter-notification asserting lawful use. Content may be restored unless legal action is initiated.
We reserve the right to terminate accounts of repeat infringers.
10. Availability and Changes to the Service
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, uptime, or error-free operation.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features or the Service at any time.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, misuse, or legal compliance reasons.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will do so.
12. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Homekeepr disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Homekeepr will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or property, arising from your use of the Service.
Homekeepr’s total liability will not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
14. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding arbitration, except that you may pursue claims in small claims court if eligible.
You agree to waive the right to participate in class actions or class-wide arbitration.
You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of account creation by emailing legal@homekeepr.co.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
