Homekeepr, Inc. (“Homekeepr,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, retain, share, and protect the information you provide when using our mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
Homekeepr helps homeowners manage, organize, and maintain their homes using AI-powered structured data tools, integrations, and optional AI-powered features.
By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information to operate, improve, and personalize the Service.
We collect information:
- Directly from you when you create an account, enter information, upload documents or photos, or use AI-powered features
- Automatically through your use of the app (such as device and diagnostic data)
- From third-party integrations you choose to connect
The types of information we collect include:
a. Account Information
- Name
- Email address
- Password or authentication token
- Optional profile information you choose to provide
b. Home Information
- Property address
- Home characteristics (e.g., square footage, year built, number of rooms, systems, appliances)
- Uploaded photos, documents, warranties, manuals, receipts, or service records
- Notes or structured data you manually enter about your home
Some home-related information may be retained after account deletion as described in Section 5 (Data Retention and Deletion).
c. Usage and Device Data
- App activity and feature usage
- Device type, operating system, and app version
- Log files, crash data, and diagnostic information
- Session and analytics data used to improve app reliability and performance
d. AI Processing and Third-Party AI Providers
Homekeepr offers AI-powered features that summarize, interpret, and organize home-related information you choose to upload.
When you use AI-powered features (such as document summaries, home insights, or maintenance recommendations), selected content may be transmitted to the following third-party AI service provider solely to generate a response:
Google LLC (United States) – Gemini API
The information transmitted may include:
- Property address
- Home characteristics (e.g., square footage, year built)
- Uploaded photos or documents (such as appliance manuals or warranties)
- Text you enter into the app
- Home system or appliance details
- Maintenance records or service history
AI processing occurs only when you provide consent within the app.
We contractually require Google LLC to implement confidentiality, data protection, and security safeguards that provide the same or greater level of protection as described in this Privacy Policy.
Data transmitted for AI processing is used solely to generate responses for your use within the Service. We do not permit Google LLC to sell your data or use your personal data to train publicly available models.

- Deliver and personalize the Homekeepr experience
- Provide home insights, reminders, recommendations, and structured organization tools
- Improve app performance, reliability, and usability
- Respond to inquiries and provide customer support
- Communicate product updates and feature announcements
- Maintain security, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms
We do not sell your personal information.
3A. User Consent for AI Processing
Before any personal information is transmitted to Google LLC for AI processing, Homekeepr requests your permission within the app.
You are provided with:
- A clear explanation of what data may be transmitted
- Identification of Google LLC (Gemini API) as the AI provider
- The ability to enable or decline AI-powered features
If you decline, your data will not be transmitted to Google LLC and AI features will remain disabled.
You may revoke your consent for AI data processing at any time by opening the More menu and toggling off Enable AI Features.
You may also email privacy@homekeepr.co to request revocation and deletion of any associated data.
4. How We Share Information
We share personal information only with service providers necessary to operate the Service.
These include:
- Cloud hosting and storage providers (e.g., Google Cloud / Firebase)
- Analytics and diagnostic service providers
- AI processing provider (Google LLC – Gemini API)
These providers process data solely on our behalf.
We contractually require all service providers to:
- Process data only for authorized purposes
- Maintain confidentiality
- Implement security safeguards equal to or greater than those described in this Policy
- Not sell or independently use your personal information
We do not allow third parties to use your personal data for advertising or resale purposes.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as reasonably necessary to provide, operate, and improve the Service.
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time by contacting privacy@homekeepr.co.
Upon verification, we will deactivate your account and delete or anonymize personal information that directly identifies you within 30 days, unless retention is required by law or for legitimate security purposes.
Even after account deletion, Homekeepr may retain certain property-level information necessary to continue operating and improving the Service. This may include:
- Property address information (public and non-public)
- Home characteristics (e.g., square footage, systems)
- Appliance and maintenance data associated with the property
- Photos or records not uniquely tied to your personal identity
Where feasible, retained data will be de-identified, aggregated, or dissociated from your account and will not be used to re-identify you.
6. How We Protect Your Information
We implement industry-standard safeguards including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+)
- Encryption at rest
- Secure authentication and role-based access controls
- Regular monitoring and security testing
While no system is completely secure, we continuously work to strengthen our security posture.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access and obtain a copy of your personal data
- Request correction or deletion
- Object to certain processing activities
- Withdraw consent
- Limit automated processing
